I had a text around 15 minutes ago from a professional contact at a large corporate connected with the club. I know that'll not appear particularly credible but I've no reason to doubt them, which makes it even more bizarre.

I heard something as well.*

*It was a fox or something knocking a bin over. And it was last night, but I'd prefer to keep it enigmatic.

This internet thing certainly has a lot to answer for the almost instantaneous spreading of false rumours and gossip on a global scale. This person having fallen out with that person.. people resigning.. or saying people have died when they haven't. Just remember though, someday it will say on the internet that Jeff Goldblum and/or William Shatner has died and it will actually be true.

Bruce was promoted last year. We were in the Premiership last year.  That was last year.  Leicester won the Premiership last year, this year they are on the brink of the relegation zone.  This year and next year and the year after that are the ones I am concerned about.

Last year Wagner was 19th.

Bruce was promoted last year. We were in the Premiership last year.

I hate to return to a path I've trodden so pedantically often Brian, but we've not been in the Premiership for nearly a decade.

And every time somebody erroneously calls it that, God drowns a puppy as punishment.

'Careful there, Dave. You definitely don't want to be sounding anything remotely like Talkshite's Goldstain & Cun*y.

It's obviously a big if, but if he has resigned, I wonder if Sir Brian would be up for a caretaker manager role and maybe get JG back as his assistant.
