Just got home, I can't even put my finger on exactly what the fuck is wrong with us, theres a deep fundamental issue that turns good players at previous clubs into absolute cloggers at Villa.

That is not a team at all, 11 individuals, nobody knows what anybody in claret and blue is going to do with the ball, other than Baker will always knock it long, our movement is non existent but it has been for years.

We were actually controlling the game for the first 20 minutes but then we conceed and as ever we start to panic and nobody wants to take control of the ball after that, its a deep psychological issue at Villa, ill be fucked if i know how to solve it.

44 shots in 180 mins is not bad (1 every 4 mins). Much as i would question his tactics its pretty clear the players have to take a lot of the blame, and I don't just mean the crappy defenders

Just watched the goals. That muppet has to be the worst keeper we've ever had.

He's a dinosaur - and you know what happened to them - extinct.
That's exactly what he is.

I can't help thinking of Dean Smiths Brentford and wondering, what if?

Totally this..his era has gone. Go get Rowett..
LLDLLLL in the championship with this group of players is sackable...he's panicking with formations just as others have done, he sets up too deep, messes about with formations and players positions. Not exactly the stance of a man who has confidence it will come good.

Time for a New Manger Poll?..

fuck sake, this is soul destroying.
I want him gone, but it's completely pointless getting rid of him at this point. I don't think we'll go down, simply because the bottom three are horrific and at some point we'll start getting some results. But unless he wins a bare minimum of 8 games before the season finishes, he can fuck right off in May and wile away his days in the kebab shop of his choice.

The most frustrating thing though, is that on paper Bruce was exactly the appointment we needed. He started off well. I cannot fathom what happen. Furthermore, I have no idea who will come in who can improve things. We genuinely seem cursed.

We shit money out on average players. Why not spend the big money on getting a really top manager. If Rafa is happy to slum at at Newcastle in the Championship, we could get someone similar. You just have to pay them. We can't get by on just motivation now. We need someone tactically astute. Because if the motivator can't motivate, you're buggered.
Oh FFS!!

We won't go down because there are 3 teams worse than us is true enough.
But we have been here all too often, we shouldn't be ANYWHERE NEAR having to contemplate using those words again, but here we are again.

You do wonder whether part of the problem is that the defence have no confidence in him.

Sadly I think your correct and the sub is worse. I still can't understand how we could make what was a completely inept job of finding a decent championship keeper.

Dr.T isn't like Lerner. He is a credible businessman. I'm certain he will be having some lengthy discussions with Round and Wyness trying to assess what the fuck is going on.

Nah. He'll be on twitter spouting  some random nonsense. He's made very poor decisions in last 9 months

We are quickly becoming irrelevant. If we are losing interest, chances are everyone else already has.

They aren't even showing our game in the 'selected results' from the championship on Sportsday In the BBC news channel.

All Villa on Talksport tonight.
Pundits or fans phone in ? What's being said ?
Mostly Villa fans calling in to say their point. Split opinions on the players, the manager and our arrogant fans. A few Wolves and Leeds on now.

Thought it was poor with the booing second half. It just makes it harder for the players operating with low confidence and being expected to perform to a counsel of perfection.

I agree on the Johnstone one. He's not great but he's hardly letting them in on purpose.

Lansbury was the best of the rabble and shouldn't have been subbed....could understand the booing on that one.

Jack's stock is falling every week....thought he'd be a standout player at this level.

So true. Spend 50m and first choice keeper is inexperienced loanee. Its that stupid it makes you wonder if Bruce is doing it on purpose
