Where are the angry young men lead by a hard man, that many of us remember from seasons gone bye ? They're all out for a lads day out and a kick about. We need some desire, passion and effort ( didn't we all say that last season though ? ) Hmmmm?

I don't see any drive or desire in our way of playing through this bad spell. So that doesn't auger well, does it ?!

Have to get the basics right ...and Calderwood seems to be just there to pick up his pay cheque from an easy drive up from Northampton.

Bruce is a Dinosaur. He is no more than a jobbing manager who has benefited from the Managerial merry go round for many years as one of Fergie's mates. No more. After inheriting the squad of players he did and having spent as much as he has; to have a run of results and performances like he has is abysmal. There has got to be a better way?

You look around at the other games in our division tonight and there's a comeback or late goal in nearly every match. Teams willing to battle for everything, bust their gut for 90 plus minutes.

Then you see our meek shower of dumb cretins managed by someone who needs to take his rolling contract and be rolled out of the club.

I'm no fan of Bruce but I thought on this occasion he picked the best XI players in a formation to suit them and whisper it but we played pretty well first half. The players have to take the lions share of the blame for melting when they were up against it after the goals.

We dont deserve much on the way of luck but fuck me we got none again tonight

I'll give Bruce a pass on this one.
No pass from me, no game plan, no idea and no changes when needed. Gruffnuts.

So's Neil Warnock, but look what he's done/doing at Cardiff. That's who we should have gone for - although of course we never would have because we're far too good for him, eh? But when he took over Cardiff were looking doomed, and now they're 12th on 42 points - and he hasn't spent gazillions either. At this rate we'll be lucky to get 42 points by the end of the fucking season.

We said the same about Hughton and Schteve McClaren...

I think it was Dave W who said the job was too big for Dean Smith when RDM was sacked, and I think mentioned Graham Turner as a comparison (apologies if I'm wrong about that, Dave). I took it on board at the time and thought it sensible.

However, we haven't recently been European champions. We're facing relegation to Division 3. I think it's worth the gamble. We need a miracle worker or a stroke of luck and we won't attract a miracle worker.

The midlands as a whole is just a shite area for football isn't it. Listening to radio WM now and no fucker is ever happy on there. Every club in the midlands is proper pants, they're relegated consistently, they're bland to watch and have problems on and off the pitch. Take away Leicesters one off last year, how can a region that contains so many professional football clubs be so bad of late.

Time for a New Manger Poll?..

fuck sake, this is soul destroying.
I want him gone, but it's completely pointless getting rid of him at this point. I don't think we'll go down, simply because the bottom three are horrific and at some point we'll start getting some results. But unless he wins a bare minimum of 8 games before the season finishes, he can fuck right off in May and wile away his days in the kebab shop of his choice.

The most frustrating thing though, is that on paper Bruce was exactly the appointment we needed. He started off well. I cannot fathom what happen. Furthermore, I have no idea who will come in who can improve things. We genuinely seem cursed.

We shit money out on average players. Why not spend the big money on getting a really top manager. If Rafa is happy to slum at at Newcastle in the Championship, we could get someone similar. You just have to pay them. We can't get by on just motivation now. We need someone tactically astute. Because if the motivator can't motivate, you're buggered.

If we think tonight is bad, wait until Monday night for everyone to watch live on Sky. That will be an absolute tonking.

If spud goes then why can't we for once think outside the box instead of the dusty, mundane crap we always seem to bring in. Reading did it in the summer, Wednesday, Fulham etc.

People say we need stability. Well, a steep slide is not stability. This is not a small bump in form, this is how it will be under Bruce. We were crap in most of our wins and were worse when we were conceding to draw from winning positions. As for the last two HOME games? Fucking abysmal. He cannot come back from those, surely?
