Is there a more perfect summation of the club?

Maybe aliens will come and destroy the Earth ?

No need. Ever the optimist I'm hoping Trump does it to put us out our misery.

One day someone will mention to me that the Villa played a game the day before and I will be oblivious to the fact, and whatever the result it won't trigger any sort of emotion other than indifference. I reckon that day's not far off.

Some said that we needed to get relegated to rebuild and bounce back. That was from the Premiership! Suddenly, it looks like we've not hit the floor yet. This run is dangerous. We are clueless and are getting worse. Relegation is realistic.

I saw an AVFC post on Facebook earlier of one of our great performances. We looked vibrant, energetic, enthusiastic, passionate and dare I say it quite good.

It was 7 years ago. WTF has happened.

We are THAT club that other fans think "I remember when they were good."

As soon as the official site came out with the stat that we'd not lost to Barnsley in 12 games I knew we were about to get twatted.
I blame the OS for everything.

I'm no fan of Bruce but I thought on this occasion he picked the best XI players in a formation to suit them and whisper it but we played pretty well first half. The players have to take the lions share of the blame for melting when they were up against it after the goals.

We dont deserve much on the way of luck but fuck me we got none again tonight

I'll give Bruce a pass on this one.

"Well if we get relegated then at least we can look forward to winning games and enjoying our football again." Again.

He's a dinosaur - and you know what happened to them - extinct.
So's Neil Warnock, but look what he's done/doing at Cardiff. That's who we should have gone for - although of course we never would have because we're far too good for him, eh? But when he took over Cardiff were looking doomed, and now they're 12th on 42 points - and he hasn't spent gazillions either. At this rate we'll be lucky to get 42 points by the end of the fucking season.
