That is a shit, ultra defensive looking line up.  Rubbish.

All these new signings and im pretty unimpressed by the line up. As others have said, Bacuna and Amavi would be far better. It'll all go through the middle and we will get frustrated.

I know, but honestly, 5 at the back at home, against Ipswich, with two non-attacking full backs?  And in Hutton's case, non-footballing full backs.

It really is beyond parody. Hutton playing at all beggars belief.

This. Screw Bruce and his shitty ideas on how to play football.

Time for some nice beer and Witcher 3, Blood and Wine.

I don't understand why this is so difficult. We actually played some decent stuff under RDM. Just couldn't it going until the end where tactically and fitness wise we were exposed. In many of those games we led late into the game having dominated most of them with some really good attacking football. Our finishing was mostly awful. Then Bruce comes in and we become more conservative, even negative. It just didn't need to go that far the other way. This better be 3-5-2 but it just looks 5-3-2 now. 3-5-2 would be better served with Bacuna and Amavi. Maybe I'm missing something because I hope he's got plans for Hourihane and Lansbury to really push forward today.

Hutton instead of Bacuna and Taylor instead of Amavi at home ...??

well we will see , shame about Bree , he looked miles better than Hutton already even at 19 or whatever age he is.

All humpty dumpty down the middle, as BFR might say.

All Tony's millions and all Tony's men, couldn't put Villa together again.

To be honest when I'm happy with the line up we play shit and when I'm not happy with the line up we play shit.

Here's hoping we're not shit today
