The first home game for some of the new signings so as long as Bruce sets the team up correctly and with the attitude then we should start on the front foot. If we take our early chances and keep pressing then this could be a good win and hopefully the start of a good run of results.

Villa 3-1.

3-0 Villa.

Same here. To guarantee the victory I shall replacing the jinxed Messers Redsox, Toronto and Shin by launching the Match thread.

McCarthy will come for the draw and wait for a mistake, that's one thing I'm sure of.

If it's 5-3-2, I think it should be James Delaney Ehiogu Southgate Barry Wright Hendrie Merson Thompson Carbone Dublin.

Seriously though, it's a testament to Barry that he is still playing top flight football when you look at that starting 11!

I think Ipswich will win 2-1 but we will go on and win the League.

As an alumnus of the University of Extended Abbreviations in the fine city of Norwich, I will enjoy our 8 (E-I-G-H-T) - 0 win all the more.

Last 2 predictions have gone from the wildly optimistic (Brentford 1-2 Villa) to the eerily accurate (Forest 2-1 Villa), im going for Villa 1-1 Ipswich for this one with a similar game to the Preston one.

Johnstone in goal, Bree, Chester, Baker, Taylor at the back, Jedinak sitting with Hourihane next to him, Lansbury and Thor more advanced with Hogan up top with Kodjia.

I thought that against Forest we might start to turn it round and to be fair it was certainly a better performance than Brentford

so I hope it starts for us on Saturday I'm going with a 1 nill win (kodjia Pen)

I thought SB had already said last week he was persisting with 3 (or 5) at the back?

If so it just looks like a way of making us defensively more solid and/or so he can shoe-horn Elphick into the team?

Why would he want to shoe horn Elphick into the side?
