Bearing in mind how well we started before shitting out when  Brentford started tackling, this is down to lack of bollocks. Again!

Said to my son at lunchtime if Bruce doesnt finish the season strongly, He will be gone in the summer. Bruce was employed as the promotion expert. We have looked anything but since his arrival

I like bruce but he has had zero impact

do we have a style of play? Are we fit? Are we cohesive? Are we harder to beat? Are we motivated? Have we got any fight?

Looking forward to playing buzz word bingo during his post match interview
I agree with you. I was mixed when he arrived,  but he's confirming the worst. He's another Mccarthy,  Warnock and Curbs... a charlatan.
Bloody hell, he's had 1 game with his new team, some of whine signed in the last few days and you're writing him off already?

This is by no means a defence of tonight's performance btw.

Leeds away
norwich away
Cardiff away
wolves away

if only there was some sort of pattern
What we've played all of them since Bruce signed his new players?

Jesus wept

of course not but 5 away games zero goals, zero points and playing fucking shit

Are we still feeling smug about Westwood?

Do you think he'd have been better then?  I don't, I think he'd have been equally as shite.
He'll undoubtedly turn into Pirlo now though, whilst we'll take the seasons most effective Championship midfielder and turn him into Robbie Savage's less talented cousin.
The Villa way. 2010-

Exactly this. I've no clue.

Indeed.  The Pendulum of Blame is now swinging away from the shit players to the shit manager.  We'll replace him with someone we rate, and then we'll be shit because of the shit players.  They'll all get replaced, and then our shitness must be due to that shit manager we just hired.  And so on.  The only constant: we're Villa, and we're shit.

What's the betting £12m on Hogan turns out to be money down the toilet?

He's probably down Nandos right now, speed-eating.
That made me laugh

This draft makes the French busload of signings look positively brilliant.

Jota looked like Lionel Messi. He was destroying us from 10 minutes in and we did NOTHING about it.

In contrast to Lansbury who looked good for the first 5/10 minutes and then Brentford adjusted their play to close him down and he disappeared from the game.

14th. Fucking gutless bastards.

Advice for a relegated team? Buy a mid table championship team.
Why does this change my mood every time? I'm going to see Paul Mckenna.

I think the word "gel" is going to get used a lot for the next couple of months.  As in they must get time to.  Like it is some abstract transformation that comes down from the clouds over Bodymoor Heath.   The single biggest problem at our club is the absence of good judges of players.  Without them you might as well flush the club's money down the toilet.

I was just thinking that
How must Dr Tony be feeling? He's given Bruce his total backing and trusted his judgement. I really feel for him he was clearly excited about the transfer window only for it to totally blow up in his face.

Post match quote

Difficult game to come into, players not been together until today.
Not had competitive game for two weeks.
Number of injuries to key players.
Kodja jet lagged after travelling

Indeed, the excuses are easy.
But, we have been hearing shit excuses since before Christmas

Kodjia jet legged ? Gabon is on the same time zone as the UK ?

Did he fly back to Birmingham via China or California ?

As time goes on, it feels more and more like we are the next Leeds and Sheff Wed.
