Even j.k. Rowling couldn't come up with a storyline like this one

Jedinak is a big miss in front of the back four. It's like the parting of the Red Sea every time they run at us.

We seem to have had the attitude "We are Aston Villa, how dare you". for years now, narcissistic almost.

Kodjia 53, Lansbury 84, Grealish 88.

Brentford 2 Villa 3.

You'll see.

I would take that. I like your attitude!

Their movement in the final third is killing us. Bruce has to earn his money now by making some tactical changes. It had to be said though we had 2 golden chances to score and missed them both. That's what gave them the impetus and the belief to play their attacking game. Oh and can someone please kick Jota up in the fucking air.

The midfield is the problem. There's no protection at all so that movement off the wings is killing us

Bree for Hutton and grealish for Thor please. Lansbury and hourihane to sit deeper and protect the defence better

Not that I think that will be enough, especially with kodjia out of form

I've just read the teamsheet from page 1 - hardly surprising we're all at sea with all the new faces thrown straight in.

Hutton for their second (holds head in hands)

I thought that. Why is he playing when we have Bree?

Is there a more infuriating sports team to support on the planet?
No idea. What about The Brown's?

Yep - good shout.

There's no connection there, is there?

A midfielder should have tracked the runner. Hutton was on another player and had to try and cover.

That's how I saw it too......he's an easy scapegoat

Having said all of he above, we've missed two absolute sitters today and it would be a very different game if we hadn't
We are the lowest scoring away team in all 4 divisions. Fucking hell how has that happened?

It's what happens when the owner skimps on forwards

Hutton has been poor but the second was more Lansbury's fault

Although that's not really his game I imagine

Really? Hutton was yards from any Brentford player when the cross came over.
