Well deserved and I think he will be a useful squad member/bench warmer.

Love him, very happy with this. Absolutely stepped up when it got serious last season and another player with a great attitude.

Probably obligatory?  Deserved nonetheless as he improved massively.

Agreed. Approaches the game properly, wants to better himself but isn't a flashman and doesn't do all his talking on social media.

He probably won't start many games at this level but deserves his shot off the bench and in the cups and you never know with injuries etc. McGinn will probably have a few suspensions along the way!

Completely deserves his shot at the PL with us on an improved contract. He's not always been great but he's a great pro and he's showed at times that he's got enough in the locker to be part of a PL squad and he was really good in that brilliant run at the end of the season and for me was MOM in the playoff final. If he keeps up that level of performance he'll be heavily involved next season. Chipped in with some great long range goals along the way too, not least the ones against Blues the season before last and the one against Albion in the play offs.

Well done Conor. There is going to be strong competition for places in midfield and should raise the game of each of them.

Delighted for him, his attitude to hard work and it's reward does him credit, he deserves it imo.  Perhaps not the best player and likely his opportunities could be few but one thing guaranteed, he'll be ready.  When his career's over he can look back and think 'I made it onto the big stage'.

I can see why. Good on him. He'll be coming on to help get the sixth and seventh once we're safely five up after an hour every week.

And I really like that top.

I've always liked him and it's well deserved. A decent signing for whatever it was we paid for him. Was it around £2.5m?

Really pleased for him that goals and assists record albeit in the Championship is excellent. I'd expect him to be heavily involved this season even if not often starting.

Definitely worth a place in our squad. Seems to have a good attitude and he can certainly hit a ball.

Fair play to Conor. He really improved in the latter half of the season. I didn't want him anywhere near the team at one point, and am gorging myself on humble pie now. Along with El Ghazi, I thought he was excellent at Wembley.

Good luck to you, Conor.

Amazing how many of our players only began showing what they can really do once DS balanced the side up and got them passing to each other!
