I can't link to his comments but what Bruce has said wouldn't be out of place in this thread.
At least he see's it. Let's hope he does something about it.

Steve Bruce ..This is the greatest ever  club you will ever manage in your life , and you know this. So make the most of this precious time here and do your up most up to get us back where we belong.
so for a start..
stop playing the fuckwits who were useless last season and got us in this shit in the first place . They are not good enough , they are mid table to lower table championship rubbish.
Please stop it and sort it quick...

Shirley it's not about Bruce, but the shite he's inherited from those that have gone before him?! There's evidently no 'quick fix' in the offing, so it's gonna take a good close-season of bringing in quality for dross: and organising a team that has the quality & depth to mount a proper promotion challenge. Frankly. I'm just thankful that we now have a manager that actually HAS a clue; and one that is experienced enough to prevent our catastrophic drop through the divisions. Things could be a lot better, but they could be a whole lot worse. Time needs to be our friend now - and not our enemy.
I agree with this partially but surely Bruce must take a massive slice of the blame for the tactics?? He is employing. We look absolutely dire. Wasn't one of the arguments for Bruce that he would get better performance from the players he inherited??. This clearly isn't the case

Great game, really enjoyed it despite how cold it was. Every player committed to the cause from the first minute to the last. Players and fans as one as they fight for promotion. Final score Hinckley 1-2 Bromsgrove as we stay top and are the highest ranked side in the country to still be unbeaten.

Villa were shit.
Not sure other teams fans telling us we were shit is what this forum is for, but each to their own.
Enjoy the rest of your season. VTID

Gabriel Agbonlahor has already scored his last goal in league football. Yet we continue to play him. Joke.

I have a feeling he'll score another for us (probably against SHA) but beggars belief after all that's happened he's back to starting week in week out for us.

The message it sends to the young players and fans of the club is awful.

I'm always pissed off when we lose but losing to a team managed by that dumb, lying twat whose almost as culpable as Lerner for where we find ourselves.......... FFS Vila.

A lot of people, including myself, have commented that we have become poorer since Calderwood arrived. Since then, we seem to always go out for a 0-0 draw with no real attacking intent. We must now be a main contender for least shots on target. Even today, there were times that a player was on the edge of their box but was always looking to pass rather than shoot, a real sign of lack of confidence.

On a lighter note, where are the nearly 50% of our pollsters that thought we were going to win this match as I don't see many positive comments!!! No doubt, just because we are at home next week at least 70% will have us down to win. Maybe I've been watching a different team from them.

Just a thought - has our reversion to a four man midfield coincided with calderwood?

Brighton play that way

Anyway, it isn't working

I feel a bit sorry for Hutton. I think he's badly let down by our midfield sometimes; often he gets forward but then with no options available he has to do something that isn't in his game and we lose it. Again, I have to question the coaching - why has no one brought this up? Maybe they have but our lot are so utterly shite they can't manage it.
Hutton isn't the greatest of players but my god he bloody puts his heart and soul into his performances.  If the rest of the squad did last the couple of seasons we would haven't been relegated.

Now Gestede isn't at Villa all of a sudden he becomes indispensable.

I'm amazed we got any money for him.

In slightly brighter news, Green looked decent and injected a bit of pace into the attack.

I am too, he was poor. Although our lack of forward options for our games in January is frightening.

Lambert can go forth and shaft himself sideways with his mindless aftermatch drivel. I've never seen him display any energy like the final whistle. He used to sit on the bench mumbling under his breath about the Dortmund press, going again and how excellent Lerners money was. If he had any class he would have resigned or called Lerner's whole lack of duty out.He milked us for the shilling. He is a Grade 1 rocket polisher.

On a week when I'm reminded of the attributes, ability and decorum of my favourite manager whom would have never had that approach...I'm reminded of the opposite end of the scale and ability as well..And I include both of the Mc's in that. The whole rotten, defeatist denial and attitude we currently swim in,on the pitch and BMH,was amplified and allowed to mutate to nuclear levels on Lamberts watch.I hope that champagne and celebratory mars bar chokes him.
Hear, hear. Well said!
