I find it ironic that the first time a left back has burst forward and crossed the ball since September 2015, Rudy Gestede is in Watford boarding the team bus.

Sorry, but we have not acted quickly enough in this window especially with Kodjia and Ayew away. I'm disappointed and this is what I expected with lack of reinforcements nearly half way through January.

I agree. Very disappointed, yet again from Villa.

Lazy from Adomah, should have done a lot better with that chip.

shouldnt have tried to chip it, their keeper had lost his bearings. just needed to pass it by him

options are limited on the bench, Grealish for Adamoah maybe, 4312

I might be off the mark but I have a theory that if they don't win here, we are near as done for in the play off race.  They might decide not to strengthen until the summer in that case.

Elphick looks a liability at the back so we look vulnerable.

Yes, unfortunately he's incredibly unconvincing - he doesn't give me any confidence at all. His positioning isn't great, and he keeps doing the same backing-off like he has done in previous games. When his clearance rebounded back towards goal he just looked on as Johnstone and Chester dealt with it. I would have expected him to be looking for a spare man, or trying to get back onto the line.

some of them can bearly control the ball, so there is never any forward momentum

Adomah doesn't do enough for me, just runs into brick walls and loses the ball.

Ref not booked 2 of theirs now for challenges that should have been.

I would love to see us actually play well.
