I don't understand why people are shocked gabby is playing

McCormack really can't lead the line

We don't have anyone else except Davis
So why not Davis?

I know Gestede is pretty average at best, but to sell him without getting anyone in first seems very short sighted, as it leaves us with just Gab to use and i'd even prefer to have Gestede in over him.

I long for the days of Grant Holt...

And Frank McAvennies brief Villa career.

Crickey, even with a win we're still seven points adrift.

It's going to be tough and I'd be surprised if we make it

Would rather concentrate on building a genuinely good team to go up automatically next year. We're miles off premier league quality at the moment. If in doing so we can sneak in then great

That's a mid table second division squad if I ever saw one.

Midfield four won't be out fought anyway but Bacuna left wing looks very negative. Piss all options mind and Jackie boy can have no complaints about being dropped. Then again McCormack has beyond awful lately but gets a recall next to his burger buddy.

ACN or not, 50m spent this summer and this is the best we can put out in a critical derby game

Because he's completely unproven and I'm not sure he's meant to be THAT good? Happy to give him a chance off the bench but he's not even our best young striker

Yes it does look a poor team so I think we need to forget about play offs this season and concentrate on sorting the team and system for next season.
