6 of our 8 wins have come against the bottom 6 teams

Sounded nasty today but a win is a win I guess

There was very little in the game v Leeds at Elland Road, a real drudge fest but who to partner with Jedinak?

Whimper as some might about Bruce's team, we're 3 points off the playoffs and 14 off relegation. Compare and contrast to when he took over someone else's team.

Positives: Happy with 3 points, pleased that Bruce finally realize that Bacuna has value.  VP sold out ! Westwood only allowed on the grass during warmup and halftime! RMC finally scored!

Negatives: Outplayed by Burton! at VP.  6-11 attempts. 44-56 Possession.

We seemed to have mastered playing really badly but still winning.

Earlier on in the season we were playing quite well but not winning.

I'll take the former over the latter for now.

Good win. Had a nagging feeling we'd make a meal of it. The pre match predictions were too positive!

I've been saying for sometime that we need to get to January and buy some midfielders. That we're staying within striking distance of the play offs is a credit to Bruce.

There's much to work on, no doubt, but 7 win in 12 games is a brilliant return.

Villa Park is an actual fortress too for the first time in 15 years.

Beat Leeds by any means necessary and into January we go.

Yeah I agree winning so many games at home is a real treat. We need to start playing better, but winning games allows time to develop.

It's ugly but it's effective. I'm loving it.

Hutton was garbage...why oh why do we still start him?

Grealish should've started. No one played well today.

  Burton played well.

Good performance from a village team.

Yep and that's it. You can develop to playing well if you're winning.

Struggling to beat the likes of Burton at home is not good.
It's all well and good playing poorly and scraping a win every now and again, but this is becoming the norm.
I wish we could win a game or two convincingly.

We're in a rut with our fluency and have been for five games now.  We've taken 9 points from these games where we've been shit.

Clueless Bruce, clueless.

Scraping a win every now and then is a bit harsh.

We've won six of our last ten games, lost only four of our last twenty, won our last five home games and haven't lost a single match at home this season.

Hopefully McCormack will go on a scoring frenzy from now until May.
