Westwood might not do much but he likely won't give it away as readily. At least that has to be thinking. He of course offers zero defensive protection.

But that's the point. Surely a bit of defensive shoring up would be more in order. Elph just for the numbers

Ayew would be infinitely more likely to help us keep the ball even if our shape went even more to shite. Westwood is the worst of both worlds.

Well...there we go. I thought we were the less bad side so deserved it in that much. We looked better when we did the simple stuff well, i.e. passing and keeping possession.

Being fair, he is good at digging out possession but not so hot on doing something constructive with it. He sort of reminds me of half a Dennis Mortimer...
