Quote from: PeterWithesShin on December 20, 2016, 10:21:32 PMIsn't it about 2600 we give now? Burton have sold around 2200 so far. What annoys me is they are paying £25, Leeds are paying £35. Why is the same seat £10 more a few days later for a Leeds fan?Good point. When we were in the *cough* premier tier, the club used to categorise home games based on the opponents, presumably based on perceived demand, and the price was adjusted accordingly. Police and security costs might also be a factor.

Quite a few areas have reappeared for sale on the online seating plan, including the Holte and Lower North.
42,000, for the most ridiculous league fixture in Villa Park's history.

We've always got bigger crowds on Boxing Day, but in recent seasons we've had a lot of live TV games at times that tend to spoil Boxing Day plans for families, and a result the attendances have been affected.Nice to be back to normal as far as I'm concerned, and playing a club like Burton - who deserve huge respect for the progress they've made - is much more of a game to look forward to than watching us play Man U or Spurs.

Aston Villa v Burton fucking Albion in a league game is beyond parody. Coupled with the fact it will be the 4th highest gate in English football makes it just odd.

I still think it will be about 39k.
