Isn't it about 2600 we give now? Burton have sold around 2200 so far.

What annoys me is they are paying £25, Leeds are paying £35. Why is the same seat £10 more a few days later for a Leeds fan?

Good point.

When we were in the *cough* premier tier, the club used to categorise home games based on the opponents, presumably based on perceived demand, and the price was adjusted accordingly. Police and security costs might also be a factor.

Because they are Leeds fans.

This really pisses me off too. It's just so wrong.
I'm a season ticket holder but I expect it also means our fans are paying a fair chunk more to see the Leeds game than for Burton - even though Leeds is a Thursday night and live on TV. Haven't all our home TV games this season been the more expensive ones to watch? Forest, Newcastle, Wolves and now Leeds - all games when the club should be doing all it can to get more of our fans to attend, not putting them off. It'll happen again v Blues.
The powers that be at Villa will learn one day hopefully.

And yet, the Leeds game looking like it's going to be a sell out as well, although the Trinity upper not open as yet

If we sell out against Burton when in the bottom half of division 2 it would be very impressive.

Just had this email from the club ...

As we look to continue our unbeaten run at Villa Park this season, our fixture against Leeds United is selling well and we've decided to re-open the Trinity Road Upper for this fixture.

As a loyal season ticket holder, we wanted to offer you the chance to move back to your 2015/16 seat for the game.

Yeah saw Wyness had tweeted that. Should be two 40k plus crowds.

A convincing win and good performance on Boxing Day will add a few more on to the Leeds gate.

"Our grounds too small for us"  :D

Seriously though, it would be fantastic to gather a bit of momentum, heading into the new year

It's going to be difficult for non-season ticket holders to get cup final tickets this season.

Apparently only restricted view tickets now left which can't be all that many I'd have thought

Quite a few areas have reappeared for sale on the online seating plan, including the Holte and Lower North.

By the same logic that Villa fans are paying more away than some other sets of supporters, I suppose: Leeds fans travel in numbers.
