Where were they all today? Only 29,000 there. A few seasons down here and we'd be scraping 20k.

Why are you so obsessed with attendances / allocations?

Genuinely interested to hear why you spend so much time banging on about crowds.

Good question PWS I'm fairly interested too.

I actually found it a very strange question.  Most Villa fans I know are interested in how many tickets we've been allocated for away games, how many we've sold and how many we get for home games.  This season is especially interesting as the away support has been amazing.  I'm always keen to discover allocations etc.

There is actually a site called awayfan.com that covers this kind of thing. This shows that its perfectly normal to show interest in away support.  Our fans have been pictured a few times on it, including at Sheffield Wednesday & Barnsley.

most fans are interested in their clubs support  I'd be genuinely interested to discover why they wouldn't be?

Approx 37,500 sold so far.

Quote
Steve Bruce spoke of our “quite remarkable support” as he hailed the travelling faithful – and the home support who are on course to sell out the Boxing Day Burton game.

Bruce was thrilled to see such a huge following at Loftus Road, with 3,000+ on hand to cheer the team on.

And the manager was visibly in awe when told post-game that the Brewers match was tracking to be a full house this festive period.

Bruce is eager to give our fans plenty to cheer about, with 37,500 tickets sold so far.

He said: “I’d like to thank the fans who came down to QRR to support us. I thought they were wonderful.

“I have been told we’re edging towards a full house on Boxing Day against Burton. That tells you everything you need to know about our club.

“It could be 42,500 and against Burton – no disrespect to them – that’s a quite remarkable turnout.

“Let’s hope we can go and win back to back games and mount a challenge.

“It’s so critical to stay in touch. We’re edging towards half way. Let’s keep going."

The Holte End is now completely sold out for Burton, while there are only single seats in most areas of the ground – except Upper Trinity where there is decent availability at present.

Burton still had around 500 left the other day so unlikely to be a total sell out.

Does that meant there is 37500 sold including the away end or that we've sold 37500 out of the 39500 home seats?

I tried to get my other half a ticket near me in L2. There was nothing, so we've moved to A5, Row L in the Trinity Road. Never sat up there before.  What's the view like?

Might depend on what criteria they use but they took about 10,000 to Old Trafford a few years back. I think 3,000 or so to Villa Park should be easy enough.

Used to sit in a1 regularly, the upper trinity is the best view in the ground imo

Sounds like my usual spot in L2!

Not that many left on the select-a-seat option. Less than a hundred for the rest of the ground and a few hundred in the UT. Never convinced how accurate that is though.

i got a couple in the upper trinity because that's the only place left if you want two together this is a fact because I tried everywhere else including ringing the club to see if there were any returns

can't see Burton bringing 3k but you never know it is Boxing Day and people like me do take the chance of getting away from the mother in law for a while

Isn't it about 2600 we give now? Burton have sold around 2200 so far.

What annoys me is they are paying £25, Leeds are paying £35. Why is the same seat £10 more a few days later for a Leeds fan?
