I'll be preparing for this game in the usual way, by watching 'World of Sport' and washing my beige Vauxhall Viva

After watching Tiswas, I'll be washing my Raliegh Chopper, buying Blakeys for my Solatio shoes and overdosing on Spangles

I will be at my nan's in Tile Cross with a face as long as Curzon Street. My grandad will tell me about his potato clock* and I will resort to reading my Nan's Titbits magazine to alleviate the boredom. I will slowly develop an addiction to Camp coffee and Carnation milk.

*"What's a 'potato clock' grandad?"

'Well, a 'potato clock'... CHUCKLE...gets you up at eight o'clock.... GUFFAW, CHOKE, spittle..."

Leeds 0 Villa 4,  and that's letting them off lightly.  Gravy slurping fuckers.

Although our home record is pretty strong so far, I think we will be far more dangerous away from home when the onus is on teams to attack us.

All this boundless optimism is making me uneasy. Leeds win. Sorry.

Horrible club, horrible fans. Think Brucie should play 3 in the middle for this one - preferably Jedinak, Gardner & Bacuna - with Grealish, Adomah and Kodjia up front. Still think it will be tight - 2-2

I don't think I've ever seen Villa win at Elland Road, despite having been half a dozen times. The first time was after our 1975 promotion, nad we lost 1-0 and barely escaped with our life. The last time was the game when Gareth Southgate scored twice in a 2-2 draw (Kewell scored a screamer right after the second-half kick-off).

You have seen us win because we won the Southgate/Kewell game. 2-1.
Age is a wonderful thing ...
Sorry, all.

The mind may well be playing tricks, but I think I saw us win twice at ER in our Div2 season in 87/88. One League, one FA Cup.

Anyway, we'll win - Thompson & Aspinall with the goals.

3-1  win in the League  up there and  2-1 win in the Third round however they beat us 2-1 at VP  in the League.

Providing we go 3 in midfield I can't see us losing. Hopefully Bacuna if fit can show the same sort of form from earlier in the season. We need somebody to drive forward from midfield. Plenty of options up front, not too worried who plays up there.
