Lee Child interview
« on: November 24, 2016, 04:41:50 PM »
If you're a Lee Child fan ( or even if you are'nt ) there was an enjoyable  interview with him on 5live the other night , Phil Williams, Villa Fan talking to Lee Child, Villa Fan . Mostly they talked about his new Jack Reacher book etc but quite a bit about his passion for the Villa, the inclusion of Villa player's names in his books , reminiscences of the 1982 Final etc and a chat with ' surprise guest ' Nigel Spink.

Great interview. That said, having read the previous 20 books, in my opinion this one is by some margin the weakest.

I've obviously been living under a rock the last 21years, or been pissed; but I've never heard of this guy before. Listened to the interview all the way through. Kind of bloke you could have a good yarn to down the pub, then find out he's met bill Clinton the week before. Nice touch getting Spinksy on there. He knows his onions too- 8 mins when the sub happened Phil, not 10!

....or that Bill Clinton sends him hand written critiques of every Reacher book , as he reads them ...or that he and Tom Cruise went to the recent Manchester Derby together...in a private Helicopter.......not ducking fusty for a boy  from Handsworth Wood !..........Godzvilla!
