On that SSN transfer centre, they're reporting that The Evil are saying the Westwood deal is a loan.  I hope not.

Loan will do us no favours

It gets a player off the wage bill which in turn might go towards bringing in someome who is on decent money. That's one way of looking at it.

So, where are we all hanging out in Brentford after the game tomorrow in order to watch the end of the transfer window?

Someone shove Hogan onto the Team Coach back to Brum, no one will notice.

I would imagine that any bid for Hogan would include a lot of performance / success related add-ons. Probably £9m with a couple more million if we get promoted, he scored 10+ goals this season, etc.

I imagine we'll have to overpay to get him, otherwise West Ham will sign him.

Then the porn barons will be in the media talking about the Villa again.

I know I'm in a minority but I think Westwood is a decent player whose confidence was coached out of him by successive management regimes and being played in the wrong position.  If it us a loan we may find ouselves with a far better, more confident player when he returns.

I was there earlier in the year, one of the four corner pubs is closed, can't remember the name.  It's the one on the right as you look towards the away end.

£13m for Hogan but Ayew only worth £5m +Taylor? Pretty skewed, why can't we do the screwing for once?

Caught up on the Westwood posts?

Or how much we fleeced Liverpool for when we turfed Downing.

Westwood is going?!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah!

Fuck off you unless, paceless, weak, none tackling, none scoring, convictionless little shithouse.

You epitomise our decline and you've stolen a living for four fucking years and played 150 games; one through ball at Norwich and one goal at the Hawthorns, your sum return. Beyond abysmal. Don't darken our club again.

The only time I want to see him in claret and blue is when he's pointing to the Villa players running past him as we smash Burnley 4-0 next season.

Dyche has done a brilliant job at Burnley to be fair, would'nt suprise me if he gets the best out of Westwood.. We are a completely different challenge though.
