Can't see Bacuna being fit, Bruce estimated 3 weeks out when he picked up the knock. With Ayew out then possibly Adomah as well we are some way off full strength. May need to change the system to the infamous Sherwood 'we played wiv 2 namber tens gavnor!' and play Grealish and RMC as the two just behind Old Kodjia.

With Ayew and possibly Adomah out, time for Jack and Ross to show what they're made of.
2-0 win

I'm on a decent streak by not predicting the Villa scores in here so no prediction from me.

With Ayew out I hope McCormack gets the nod and Grealish on the bench.

Surely we'll win by at least two goals.

Hopefully keeping a clean sheet.

If we fail then Brucey has a more difficult job than we thought.

A 2-0 win which may be harder than we think. Hopefully Bacuna will be back to compliment Jedinak in the middle.

I thought Bruce said Bacuna is likely to be out for 3 weeks?

If Adomah is out as well as Ayew, I would play Grealish and Kodjia either side of Gestede.  I would bring Tshibola instead of Westwood, but I think Ashley's been doing the old Jedi mind trick on yet another manager.

Think Bruce will be sticking with three in the middle. Ayew out probably means Adamoah and Grealish either side of Kodija. McCormack was hopeless on the right v Blues.

Decision at right back but I expect he will stick with Hutton instead of Bacuna. Bacuna to come in ahead of Westwood and Tshibola. Gardner's goal v Blues to keep him in the team.

We have said it numerous times this season and been burned but home games v Blackburn should be comfortable wins. However our form suggests anything but, I'll go with a nail-biting 2-1.

Gollini, Hutton, Chester, Baker, Amavi, Jedinak, Gardner, Tshibola, Grealish, McCormack, Kodjia

Steer, Elphick, Cissohko, Westwood, Gabby, Gestede & Hepburn-Murphy

Fancy 3-1 - Kodija, Baker & McCormack
