3-1 Villa win.  I'll tell you the scorers after the match.

Could be another situation like having Richards and Elphick out that helps us solve the situation with our team selection, we might just play better as a more functioning team without Ayew, just an inkling, let's see how it plays out. Think we will win 2/3 - 1.

When's Mad Tommy due back ?

Hopefully he won't go straight back into the team.

He was on the bench Sunday, which both answers your question and allays your fears.

Good to have him back available though and if needed I'm sure his performances will improve under Bruce now the team looks more solid as a whole.  But Baker absolutely deserves to keep his place.

it would be nice to start picking up 'routine home wins'.

This should one of them.

2-0

Y'know, I probably should pay more attention. Apart from getting texts about the goals and watching GG's goal online, I haven't read about the Blues game or watched any highlights

2-0 win for Villa.

Pre and post match threads have contributors demanding Bruce be sacked for including Westwood in starting eleven and because the second goal resulted from a long ball to Kodjia and shouldn't really count.

I'm slightly worried as I am confident we will win this one!

I'll go for 3-1 with McCormack (2) and Gestede the scorers - would like to see us go with Gollini, Bacuna, Chester, Baker, Amavi, Tshibola, Gardner, Jedinak, McCormack, Adomah. Kodjia

Subs - Bunn, Elphick, Cissokho, Westwood, Grealish, Gestede, Agbonlahor

Ayew out but Grealish back, and hopefully Bacuna will be fit for this one. Fancy a win - 2-1

Absolutely crucial that we keep the run going and back up the good away point with putting them away. The result is all that matters and our need to keep within spitting distance until January when we can bolster and hopefully turn our forward momentum into an avalanche.

I'm not bothered if we win, lose or draw. I just want at least 52% possession.
That's what matters.
