On the replay there's a man behind the goal who goes to clap then stops. Villa fan in their end.

they have gone into Kodja And Ayew from the start, be surprised if they both finish the game uninjured

I remember last year , a bluenose telling us how crap we are and we are going down.

I agreed but pointed out that even as bad as we are we still beat them in the cup....... just saying.

They'll have their excuses ready.

Dreadful game, but...

Yep, the goal has certainly put a gloss on things (plus the biz on our goal line). We've done well defensively thus far, although Amavi's been mostly dreadful; & Westwood, well, he's been as good as he is. UTV

Shocking quality - not my main concern today though

We're definitely starting to get some luck and will need to start playing better reasonably soon

Jedinak's kind of game and he's doing well.

- but more composure and we can get our forwards into dangerous positions

Happy so far, we look comfortable now that Blose just went long ball for the last 15 minutes of the half.

Is it just me, or do we have several Lardy arses who look massively off the pace ?  Do we have a fitness coach?

It isn't just you.

A few of our lot look like they have been on the sauce last night.

Still, we're somehow 1-0 up.

They have to come at us now, so hopefully a chance to kill them on the counter. Pinch another and they'll fold. Crowd already sound subdued.

Going OK so far, scoreline is everything. And their fans are horrible.

I know we have some dickhead fans as well but the sheer number of there 'supporters' giving our guys verbal abuse when they take a throw in is astounding. The hate they must feel

Yup. Replacing Westwood would be a start.

Not really in a fit state to watch the football after the beer festival yesterday. Can barely keep my eyes open. The football isn't helping keeping me awake either.

Think Bruce been trying to introduce a faster direct play, Westwood is used to having lots of touches playing sideways and back, so now he doesn't do anything. Running around the pitch and doing some strange mock-pressuring but not tackles.... How many touches he had not counting stale defensive  headers...5 maybe?
