I got asked not to celebrate our 1st goal as sat in the home end, at half-time a group of us all Villa were moved to the away end, we stood on the disabled concourse. We went ape as threat pen went in. Great evening.

But don't look back in anger, I heard you say!

That's been in my head all day. A new anthem is born? Very apt lyrics for us aswell!

Me too, had it on repeat on my phone/headphones at my desk

It was that curse being lifted that broke even this website, just shows how heavy it was on us all.

Great result and hopefully the start of the run we've all been waiting for. Good to see us getting up Jaap Stam's nose and that he has inherited the graciousness of his former boss when losing. No way will Kodjia be given the first goal once the dubious goals committee look at it I reckon, it will be OG I think.

Original shot was on target, so the goal is his and can't be changed.

It would appear we employed some actual tactics yesterday. Let them have the ball and run around a lot in the first half. Change it to try to pick them off second. Throw on the extra quality and go for the jugular in the last 15.

This tactics lark might catch on you know.

Legion's facebook has a great shot of the penalty with the away support in the background. Absolutely mental!

The lad on YouTube whose phone got bollocksed in the celebrations was quite funny as well.

It goes without saying about how good a win is etc ?

Cissokho is becoming a bloody liability though isn't he?
