Bloody typical Villa, yet another late goal when we were comfortable to get a point.

I reckon we'll win 2-1 with a late Penalty.  ;)

Are you high? We'll throw it away and lose 3-2

Strange night last night - a minute's silence was impeccably observed for the late king of Thailand, who was just a boy prince when we last won away.

It may have been born of necessity, but setting us up tight and bringing on the genuine game changers with 15 mins to go is a simple yet clever strategy for a team that constantly ships late goals.

It's those little things that you get from a proper, experienced manager that make the difference.

I am pleased we did it for King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Keep the same team, with Amavi in for Cissokho, against Fulham. Make the substitutions a tad earlier. We can win again.

Wot No Post-Match Thread?

ps The site seemed to crash last night & I've only just been able to get it back. Clearly the shock of an away win goes even further than just the Villa faithful!  ;D

We cannot ever, ever have a single post match thread again now.

I felt diabolical yesterday, so didn't follow the game. I'm taking full credit! But how was the performance?

But don't look back in anger, I heard you say!

That's been in my head all day. A new anthem is born? Very apt lyrics for us aswell!
