We will win tomorrow. I don't know how or why I think we'll win but we will.

If we say this before every game then one day it will be true.*

*Probably. Although it might be against Solihull Moors in the National League in 2019.

I went to watch the Moors last week and they would beat us now let alone in 3 years time!

I really hope for the tide to turn, that we finally have a man in charge who can craft a result. But I am starting to get that pit of my stomach feeling about us being stuck fighting yet another relegation scrap because our players lack belief in themselves. I hope at best for a draw but sadly, the way we are playing I fear yet another loss. Miserable bastard eh? It's the hope that continually kills.

I'd go with Bacuna Chester Baker and Cissokho in defence. Gardner, Tdibola and Lyndon in midfield. Kodjia, McCormack and Gestede up front. Jedinak, Ayew, Adomah and some kids on the bench to change things if needed. Oh and Gollimi in goal (he did OK on Saturday).

Know what? I've got a feeling about this one. Fourteen months' worth of pain and false hopes later and...

...it'll be a fcuking draw. One each.

At the momemt we need Sat-Tue-Sat sequences of games like a hole in the head. Can we just ask for a deferral on all games for the next few weeks so Brucie can give them a "mini pre-season" (© Sherwood, T, 2015) to get the fuckers fit and fighting?

It's 1-1 or 2-0 to them.

We will win tomorrow. I don't know how or why I think we'll win but we will.

We're gonna get a result eventually, and we have relatively decent players for the league we're in so I'm sure we'll click sooner or later. That's what I keep telling myself anyway.

Hope you both are right!

I have been cautiously optimistic until now but that second half display on Saturday has seen all my optimism finally evaporate.
The stats don't lie, if we fail to beat Reading, it will be 3 wins in 50 league games!
It's hard to comprehend that we've had more managers than wins in those 50.
To those travelling, you deserve a medal.
I think it's going to take some time yet before Bruce turns things around.
3-1 loss, hope I'm wrong.

as has been said dozens of times before, we can't even beat the laws of averages. I keep thinking this is all a very bad dream, and that I will wake up one fine morning and we will once more be a proper football club, who win games.

My round trip this evening is going to be Loughborough-Birmingham-Aston-Reading-Lichfield and my alarm for Wednesday morning is still set for 4.50am. The very least im hoping for is a full 95minutes of effort from those on the pitch equal to that which I am putting in to watch them...

UTV, 2-2

Be interesting to see how Bruce plays this one against a team with the highest possession stats in the league. I'm slightly worried we could be seeing legs of jelly earlier than normal.

There's a difference between getting beaten 4-1 away at Man City with all their ability and dreading facing some nobody outfit like Reading in the 2nd Division ahead of an inevitable drubbing.

I can't muster any hope or positivity.

Oh mate.
