1-1, with their equaliser not being all that late on 79 minutes.

We'll finally get a win here.

No chance until we get a direct, combative midfielder like Scott Brown. My brother was at the Celtic/Man City match and when he called me last night from Glasgow he told me Brown was excellent.

Only saw the highlights but he was definitely at fault for one of the Man City equalisers.

Scott Brown is somebody I took an instant dislike to the first time I saw him.

Bacuna is suspended so I take it Hutton will play there or move Chester?

3-0 to us, the winning run commences including beating Small Heath, then the fans will want to build a statue of RDM.

They did look genuinely awful against Wigan, barely saw any of the ball, knocked it long into two immobile lumps and got away with it I thought, Wigan being mince themselves.

It's not like us to turn up, impose our will, bag a few goals and go home happy though is it.

They do play a lot of long ball stuff, but they are also capable of moving it quickly through the middle and out to the wings in phases too. ('In phases' is key - they drift in and out of games a bit)  They mixed it up far more against Blues, and more importantly, kept trying to win the game right up to the end of the 5 minutes of injury time.

They do make heavy use of Callum Robinson on the wings, but he seems to pull out of challenges nervously , and is likely to be up against Alan Hutton this weekend - so this might work for us. Their midfield is tenacious and always looking to get a foot in. Daniel Johnson is generally superb for them.

more chance of the own goals than the nose bleed offensive ploy, me thinks.

A Nose acquaintance of mine said Daniel Johnson was brilliant for Preston the other night.

To be 'brilliant' in the eyes of a Nose you only have to be able to complete a pass to one of your own players once during any given 90 minutes.

I'd settle for that right now
