I think we are due a win.  0-2. Would be nice if McCormack was declared fit and working behind Kodjia and Ayew on the left.

Jack on the subs bench.

this I believe is the one.

we finished well against new castle and saw that if there the bench mark, then we must start being more arrogant and dismissing these piss ant teams, and that's all Barnsley are.

3-1 villa

                 Gollini

Westwood Chester baker Amavi

    Tshibola Jedinak grealish

      Kodjia gestede ayew

Westwood never gets dropped and hes a very below average midfielder , so just shove him RB

I prefer Rudy to come on to be honest but depends on RM being fit , would like to see H-M getting 30 minutes as well.

1-3 to the Villa.  I've got a good feeling about this one.

Don't full backs have to tackle?

PS4 predicts a 1-0 defeat, with Ashley Westwood getting a straight red in the first half for an absolute horror tackle.

I reckon this will be the night when it clicks into place over 90 minutes....as long as there's a sensible starting team selection.

Barnsley are good going forward but leave a lot of space at the back so their games have plenty of goals at both ends.

Show them respect by playing three CMs...but surely Adomah-Kodjia-Ayew as a front trio would cause chaos on the counter attack. That's what I'd go for personally. Keep McCormack on the bench.

1-3 win.

                               Gollini
Bacuna     Elphick           Chester     Cissokho

        Westwood   Jedinak   Tshibola

     Ayew                               Adomah

                         Kodija

A feking hiding for Barnsley

It's tempting to say that away from home might be more easier.

The onus is generally on the home side to attack, so they should come at us more.

Problem is, when sides come at us -whether they be Luton, Bristol, Brentford or whoever- we generally fold. Forest didn't even need to have any sustained period of possession and still bagged two goals.

With our attacking threat, we should be on the front foot at home or away. If we do that, and go 2-0 up, we might have a chance.

As well as the rousing 20 minutes at the end of the Newcastle game, we also seemed to get a bit of luck defensively for the first time in ages.  Earlier in the season or last year that daft clearance from Bacuna gets put away.  Would be nice if we've turned a corner there n'all.
