Need to inject some urgency in to the game and get the midfield driving at them.

Comfortable at the back but too dependent on the two wide men, Westwood and Gardner need to take charge of the game. Kodja looks dangerous but cant see McCormack having too much influence at minute, he's too deep and needs to be in the box as opposed to taking corners. Having said that a bit more luck and he's put us 1-0 up.

The Ayew bashing is ridiculous. It was his cross that gave Kodjia the header.

Absolutely ridiculous. Done a lot more than McCormack for example

I think the general complaint is that his final decision making isn't the best.

Which is a fair comment.

He's shit

I can't see what on earth he brings

These are not fair enough

It's a match thread. If yoy want considered debate try the Guardian comments section.

Our style of play does nothing to help the atmosphere, too slow and pedestrian. On the other hand though the crowd have done nothing to help the team, it's silent.

In between my dozing I did notice that McCormack is possibly the most prolific pointer in the team, not sure what else he does apart from take corners and blast 40 yard free kicks into the wall.

He's a lot more important than fucking Westwood. Stuck record-you don't win many games with him in the team.

Too many cooks for me. You've essentially got three number 10's playing. I would take off one of Ayew or McCormack (probably Ross) and bring on Bacuna to give us more width and just get chalk on his boots. That'll allow Grealish to come inside a little more and then Ayew can play where he's itching to, in the middle.
If it's still 0-0 after the hour mark I'd look at big Rudy to come on.

I'm not saying we've been great or that forest have been anything other than ordinary

But we've not given them a sniff and missed two absolute sitters

We need to improve, but I don't see why everything has to get reduced to absolutes all the time.

Another match where I have no idea how we are not winning. Granted we've not been good, however we should have scored at the minimum.
Was really hoping to see Adomah today. His natural pace and width is what we are crying out for.
Early days but I don't think this formation works. If we are going to play Ross and Kodjia it needs to be in a 4312 (may as well until Adomah is fit)  push Ross alongside JK and put JG in the hole

I mean that's pretty much what dominance looks like at this level, only without the goals. Which is a bit of an issue.
