buying Kodjia wasn't ridiculous, buying Hogan and McCormack was.

Exactly. Kodj did score 19 in his first season. Hogan and that other joker won't score 19 between them.

I well remember the howls of protest when we signed McCormack and Hogan. It was brutal

Back to Kodjia, i agree. But he's broke.

To persist with Kodija up front again
In front of her crowd and support hopefully gets off mark.

I would like to either see Green or RHM given a go today v wigan but feel that what will happen is JK will start.

That's ok as he has to get into things ans build up sharpness but do find him ineffective and really hope turns that round

Kodjia really needs a goal today. If he gets one, it could work wonders. Fingers crossed!

He’s not a centre forward. He’s an inside forward cutting in. He looks entirely lost out there, and part of me wonders even if he was playing in what is his best position, if he’s not just fucked now. What a massive shame that would be.

A lot of his goals have come for us when he's the only striker on the pitch for us. It used to work because he'd often create it himself. I hope it's just form and confidence but as i've said before I think he's done a Bent which is a real shame.

We need a loan striker ASAP, and Kodjia needs dropping and gradually reintroducing as a sub.  He's a million miles away from being good enough at the moment.

Injuries have played a part here, he's had two bad ones in the last year.

Should have scored at least once today. Looks like injuries have done for him

He was getting in the right positions,  won a few free kick and should have scored a couple perhaps.

I think he’s on his way back, just needs a goal. He’s never looked up for passes so no change there.

His infuriating refusal to let someone else have the ball when he's obviously going nowhere with it is monumentally annoying.

He's like that annoying little bastard we all had at school, got the ball and thought he could waltz through seven or eight players then when he had, went back and tried to do it again eventually losing it.  Passing not in their vocabulary, selfish feckers.

Kodjia's greediness always irritated me, even when he was in form. Now he's not he's just a waste of space. His petulance grates too.
