Davis has looked well out of form

Bjarnason might be needed at full back, otherwise I agree he could play CM

Think Onomah is much more effective at winning the ball than given credit for

Kodjia came on at a time when Villa had given up looking like scoring.  Grabban did no better when he was up there on his own either.  Unfortunately, Kodjia does look a bit sulky on the odd occasion but today really wasn't his fault.  He had to drop deeper and deeper to get a touch of the ball.  Playing up front on your own is really, really tough.

Yes, I think he was told to hold the ball up front, which is antithetical to his natural game.

He was very poor. Having said that our midfield seem to have perfected the art of isolating our lone striker whoever he is.

Not read other posts, but he is not up to speed imo. I like Hogan and think he is a player, but we are 1-0 up and need someone to hold the ball, Kieron Daies perhaps

No time for passengers I'm afraid.Step up or ship out.
Ship out is a bit hash but we should forget about him for the next two matches.

Weed be better off with Davis on the bench.
