Him coming back fully fit for the playoffs might be a bonus though.

Second place team won’t be in the playoffs Ozz 😉

Second? We’re finishing first.

Sounds great news but reality is he will be way too rusty to have an impact this year surely?

TBH  I think we have done pretty well without him

He'll be back in mid-late April I would have thought.

Come on as sub to score the promotion goal at Ipswich.

He's a long way off match fit and he'll need time, but are you suggesting that he's come back to full training just to sit out the next two months and be ready for pre-season? He'll be itching to get back, Bruce won't rush him, but barring any further injuries we'll surely see him back in the shirt by the end of the season.

If he's back in full training I expect we'll see him play for the U23s before long.  We have a games on Monday (league vs Reading) and Friday (cup vs Blackburn) next week apparently so we may well see him in one of those.

If he does and he comes through half a game ok I really would be surprised if we see him around the main squad come Easter.  Unless he has a set back he'll definitely play a few times before the end of the season, full training only helps to a point before you need match fitness.

If he's fit enough even to come off the bench from April until the end of the season he'll be a dangerous addition to our squad.

Don't they return to pre season training 5 weeks before the start of the season? Id use that timescale as a guide so mid April he'll be back in contention hopefully. It would be good to see him start a game this season and if we're in the playoffs he could have a big impact then.

Not quite comparable. He has probably been able to train for some time in order to build up his fitness. Full training will be back on the field, and including contact.

Yep, he's been in training since the middle of feb, he's into contact amd patch prep training now, it's normally a week or 2 before players are around squads from there and with 2 U23 matches next week and then nothing scheduled until April (but there are a couple of games to be rearranged from what I can tell) I suspect they'll try to get him into one of those.

This is very positive news but after the last time he won’t be rushed back. That he has got himself to this point is immense credit to the player and our often maligned medical staff. But with Grabban playing well, Hogan, RHM, Davis and our midfield providing more than their fair share there will be no need to rush him back. If he is available again by April if will be a massive boost for the final few games.

It's not really rushing, if he's in full contact training then there's not much more that can be done to prepare for matches.  If he's going to breakdown it will be picked up by him making natural movements in training matches just as easily as in full games.  The key is to only give him short spells of 15-20 minutes in first team games.

Bloody hell, Bruce isn't the best when it comes to dates and time passing is he?  Apparently Kodjia has been out for a year.  Not since October then.
