So we'll probably be looking at bringing a forward in on loan in January....Danny Ings is on the mend at Liverpool, Ulloa at Leicester, Crouch possibly wanting a few more games until the end of the season....who knows, just some realistic names that come to mind.

...it's just that it's Friday afternoon, we have a game tomorrow and no one has started a pre-match thread yet. I mean, aren't you worried?

Begs the question whether Bruce brought him back too soon, in an attempt to save his job at the time, bearing in mind he broke down in the match vs scum ahead of the internationals with Ivory coast.

A game 6 weeks after Barnsley.

He did it shooting as he went over funny. Nothing to do with Bruce.

He did it before carrying on to shoot, and still was inches from a perfect finish.

It's a big blow, he's a fucking brilliant player at this level that I love watching.

In a lot of ways it is completely awful.  However, wouldn't it be great if we had him for the run in if we were running out of steam.  And if its the play offs ideally set up for him.  Just trying to be positive.

Is this confirmed? Seems to have gone very quiet. Last I read was he was off to a specialist and things were not looking good

So many people seem happy to see the back of him.

It's funny how sodding toothless we look without him. Yes, he has faults, but if he didn't and was just a top drawer striker, he wouldn't be playing for us at this level.

There’s no doubt in my mind that his absence essentially all season has completely fucked our season. I’m not one for throwing Bruce a bone but it was obvious he would built the campaign around Kodjia had he been fit from the start. He’s the best forward in the division by a mile when fit. He makes infinitely more threatening. Last season he was just brilliant at times.

I love him. We got into Barnsley early and watched the players warm up, even just in practice his striking of the ball was on a different level to Hogan and Davies.

I agree entirely with the previous three posts, he can be frustrating but the man's got quality and I hope he is back by March at the latest if not sooner 🙏

As frustrating as he can be to watch at times, we've missed him and his unpredictability.

I think you might be able to get a cold sponge bath Godzvilla.

I wonder what that means in terms of Kodjia's due date back?

Still months off yet.

For what it's worth I agree with all of the above, incredibly frustrating and selfish on the ball if there's no clear striking opportunity but when there is... god help the keeper. Clearly a fabulous finisher. You can always tell an 'out-an-out' striker by how allergic they are to passing the ball, and Kodjia's a fine example

I'd still be pushing hard to sign up the likes of Ings on loan if possible in January because Kodj could take a long while to get back to his best, even when he's match fit again. Don't think we can count on him at all this season.
