Authorities in common sense shock!

Although I guess the other player got away with it.

Don't quite get the one match ban thing personally.

No neither do I. It's like they've admitted it wasn't a sending off offence, but more like a yellow card offence. Perhaps they've given him a one match ban to save the Ref's blushes?

So what is the one match ban for? It was a foul but not a red but worthy of two yellows, both at the same time? What a crock of FA shit.

Obviously when Bruce said he thought it should have been two yellows the FA took him at his word and gave them both to Kodjia, so just a one match ban

The worst news possible. I'd rather him miss the Blackburn game aswell.

Has this result ever happened before?  Normally a straight red for violent conduct is three games, so where on earth does the one game ban come from.  If he'd already been given a yellow, then that would make sense I guess.

There's something very odd about all this.

Shame he won't play Sunday I was looking forward to him running over to the away end, tongue out & dancing!

Time for RHM to shine, think he could play off Hogan?

What a ridiculous decision. Well I hope we beat that lot on Sunday, and Bruce 'rests' JK and other key players against Blackburn. See them laughing then.

It seems to me that there is one rule for Villa  and another rule for all the other clubs

I hope he can go on and get 20 plus goals now for the season I still think he shouldn't have had a red card.

Have we confirmed what the one match ban is for? It can't be the original offence as that was a straight red which carries a 3 match ban. If it wasn't a straight red then the ban would have been rescinded and downgraded to a yellow card. So what offence has been committed for the one match ban?

Alternatively the FA are making it up as they go along with Villa, again.
