Maybe it's because I find it hard liking any player that wears a Villa shirt these days, his inability to pass to a team mate in a better position and his habit of pretending he's badly grazed his knee or some such minor injury meaning he has to have 'treatment' gets on my nerves. Bjarnasson or whatever he's called was playing dead yesterday as well.Nice goal though even though it doesn't count because Grealish passed it to him.

Have to disagree with God, I thought Kodjia worked hard against Forest. Yes, he needs to get his head up and see the options around him, but you can't accuse him of not trying.
Jonathan Kodjia has replied to Paul McGrath's apology after the Aston Villa legend blasted the striker for his workrate.Kodjia tweeted: "No need 2 apologise God, u'r a legend of the club & won the right 2 be entitled 2 express your opinion in everything 2 do with @AVFCOfficial.The Ivory Coast international also admitted that he does have some flaws in his game, adding: "And yes there are still many aspects of my game I have to work on AVFC"McGrath continued the twitter discussion, replying: "To J.kodjia id say sorry , but do I think you'll make a player ' you are a player, do I believe you could be a great player yes #work"The Villa hero had earlier suggested Kodjia's efforts compared unfavourably to those of new strike partner Scott Hogan.Kodjia scored a spectacular goal to take his tally to 10 goals for the season in the 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest, but McGrath felt the Ivory Coast international needed to be more of a team player. He said: "Sorry Aston Villa, even if he scores four Kodjia is the villain. Work rate is nil/ Hogan is a player."Can I just give a quick mention to Hogan's work rate. Other please take notice. Goal is great now let's work for each other."Again sorry, 10 goals in the Championship isn't my idea of class. Look this kid (Kodjia) has talent but needs to lean how to play in a team game."McGrath later apologised to the former Bristol City striker, adding: "Apologies to Aston Villa supporters and our goal scorer Kodjia."In my defence I'm saddened at where we find ourselves. Only because I care."
