His penalties have been scored by sending the keeper the wrong way and unfortunately it didn't work today.  Consistent penalty scorers tend to hammer them in.

Couldn't quite believe that his English is either nil or very limited ....I really believe that ALL players should be speaking English ...its not as tho he only arrived in this country a few weeks ago

I don't think ALL players should have to speak English at all. It would help but it's hardly effected his game since he's been over here.

I don't think ALL players should have to speak English at all. It would help but it's hardly effected his game since he's been over here.

In any case, his English might be OK, but he might just not yet feel that it's up to the standard required to give TV interviews.  He's only been over here 18 months, and I'm not sure I'd be giving interviews on Canal + in French in such a short space of time either.
