I think if Gestede in our minds was already perceived to be a good penalty taker then this wouldn't be as much of a conversation. We should now be confident that he is. Had Kodjia given that penalty for example to Jedinak, who is an established penalty taker, then would this be any kind of issue?

What's in our minds shouldn't come in to it. Maybe Rudy buries them for fun in training.

I really do not understand why a penalty that we scored from is being criticised. It is only beaten for futile arguments by the one about singing along to an Oasis song.

I actually quite like the Oasis song given its spontaneity and lyrics that somewhat resonate with the past 5 years. Having said that, i'm not sure it should become an "official" club song and will probably just be something that slowly drifts away.
As for criticising the Kodjia penalty - we scored, we won. does it really matter? it's not like he got someone from the crowd to take the penalty!

The club are giving us moaners very little nourishment right now and its an uncertain, unfamiliar feeling. So we'll moan about who scored the third goal in a comfortable victory. The pettiness of my carping can be used as an indicator of our results. See it as a positive sign.

You missed my point. What's in our minds has created a conversation that wouldn't exist if we as fans knew for sure he was an established penalty taker. None of us know about how he takes them in training, and you're right he could be burying them for fun. Which also might have had something to do with Kodjia allowing Rudy to take it. My personal position is I didn't see any issue in it at all.

I don't think we are in a position to turn our nose up at that level of talent.
