A truly exciting player, he puts you on the edge of your seat every time he gets the ball.

Bruce after the match again said he plays best from the left. Will be interesting to see what he does abler that. He doesn't seem to want to buy another forward, but I'd be loath to put gabby or gestede in the middle

Why not Gestede in the middle Matt? I think he would get loads of goals in that team

Kodjia and Ayew as split forwards is the way to go for me, I've said it a few times.  Get Adomah to tuck in on the right and Grealish to tuck in on the left with both of them having a licence to go in or out and switch things up with the front pair.

Don't forget we paid £15m for him according to WM (we paid £11m), and he was way overpriced.  Now he will be in the PL next season no matter what division we are in.

Did anyone else see today where he left one of their players on his arse, stopped to laugh then carry on playing? I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned.

I thought he caught one in the face, stopped for a second with his hand to is face to check for damage and then did the player like a kipper.

His crossing from either wing today was poor but other than that he was brilliant again.

This guy is a bit special.
Not quite as talented as Benteke but a 90 minutes involved player. Never goes out of the game.

I'm seeing this slightly differently.  They are two different types of player.  Benteke had his fair share of quiet games.  He rarely scored against top 6/7 sides.  Kodjia (for me) is best wide left but can fulfill a role up top.  Kodjia has been consistent and unlike Benteke, hasn't so far gone out of the game.

Two separate divisions so it's hard to judge but in terms of talent, he is every bit as good as Benteke at this moment in time for me.

Think you re being a little unfair on Benteke, though think Kodjia looks a top player
