Rowett has had a go at him for going down to easily. I would think his back has still got Shottons knee lodged in it. Think Rowett has firmly put himself in utter twat territory this week.

Sounds like Jonathan will be ok after that kick from their defender when he got his second goal. I thought he was excellent again. A constant threat.

According to a couple of press reports, following Kodjia's goal yesterday Steve Bruce immediately pulled him off. Will he still get his win bonus as well?

Really think he looks better as a wide forward cutting in from the left.

Err, no - he looked badly hurt but made an effort to carry on after treatment. When it was obvious he could barely walk he got subbed.

I have a feeling it was a "pulled off" joke and yours was a bit of a 'wooooosh' moment.

That's what Bruce said too.

He took his second goal so well yesterday. Glad to hear he's not too badly hurt.

6 for us I think. Not sure how many he scored for Bristol City prior to that.

Which means a choice of McCormack, Gestede or Agbonlahor as the centre forward.

I still think we'll see him play upfront out of necessity. I doubt Bruce will have been that encouraged by his performance at blues. But the alternatives listed above aren't inspiring. And ayew and grealish are both able to play left side. I'd rather play one of them plus kodjia and adomah than play gestede or McCormack there and leave both in the bench, when we face Brighton

I wonder if Bruce will be really pushing gabby to be ready to start that game

Love this guy already and hope he gets the protection he deserves from refs for rest of season. Will be interesting  to see how he copes with physical nature of Brighton defenders as he seems quite light weight at times.
