Did he look like he could lead the line or was he more of a support striker?

Did he seem as ridiculously one footed as the highlights suggest?

He's big, strong and fast. He didn't do a whole lot in the game and IC aren't a great side. He came off the pitch healthy which was really important.

And full of confidence.

Absolutely. He'll be bouncing when he gets back and it will be such a boost to the rest of the players seeing their new striker and teammate do that.

He fell over and somehow shanked it in as he was falling.

What a cracker.

Having never seen him play for an entire game I can't comment on what he's like but going off clips he sure likes to celebrate every goal he scores, bang lots in for us Big John and we'll all be happy.

I presume that JK didn't play against us last weekend because the deal was already in place for him to come to Villa? Hopefully, he is the player we are looking for, pace, power and movement.

Of course they come off as spectacular but coming off an opposition defender's head, that strike looks all the more more instinctive and opportunist and I like that.

Away from home, players tired, perhaps against the run of play late in the game, having a striker who can shock an opposing defence with something out of nothing. It'd be nice to have a striker who can pluck those sorts of opportunities.

He's taken number 27. Anyone have an idea why 9 remains free?
