Brings tears of joy to my eyes every time I see it.
I am top left as you look at the goal. 17 years old and high on life!
The best years were to come, weren't they? This was only the beginning.

Happy birthday sir Peter
I queued for 15 minutes under the stand for 6 litres Pilsner while watching the game at ground level then got back into the stands when you scored I threw the lot in the air.
Pilsner don't do goals but if they did

Thank you Mr.Withe for giving me one of the most ecstatic moments of my life thus far. I suppose I should also thank Lisa from Woodside, Telford for the other most ecstatic 10 seconds of my life on that lakeside towpath.

It's an over-used term but Peter Withe is indeed a Villa legend. Happy Birthday and thank you for a glorious and unforgettable couple of years Peter.

A committed Villa legend who actually cared about the club......A rarity these days....Thank you Peter for probably the best goal celebration I have ever had at a football match.
