I thought he had a very impressive pre-season and seemed sorted for the right back position and then absolutely nothing since.

The trouble with De Laet for me is playing him at right-back would totally throw out our shape at the back. Tuanzebe would have to be moved somewhere, so you could have a situation of two centre halves and a right-back in their proper positions! Partnering him with chester instead of Jedinak could be worth a try..............

Bruce has enough quality players already, just play them in their f**king correct positions!

I'd like to see RDL in at right back and Tuanzebe into the centre because, if nothing else, it adds pace to the defence and means we can push the defensive line 10 yards higher.

"adds pace to the defence" and "push the defensive line 10 yards higher".....I can imagine Bruce reading that and having a totally dumbfounded expression and asking one of his team wtf it's about!

Bruce has signed Elmo, Bree and Tuanzebe (twice), also gave Hutton a new contract.

Might be no coincidence that RDL hasnt got a look in under him.
