Last season Amavi, this season De Laet...feel very sad for him.

Is it too late to sign NRC - a ready-made replacement at right-back :)

Be careful what you wish for...very careful

Relax, Bacuna is perfectly fine as a right back st this level.

Yes, I'm more sad for the bloke himself/annoyed at it happening to us again than worried about where it leaves our squad.
Agree on both posts.

Absolutely gutted for him.  What is it about this club and serious injuries that leave players retired or at the very least diminished?  Bouma, Delaney, Laursen, Shaw, Little, Cropley, Petrov, Cooper, Nilis, Leonard, Stas and more recently Amavi and now De Laet.  All had to throw in the towel or were never the same again.  I may have missed one or two.  This lot were off the top of my head.  Is there any other club that has suffered quite like us over such a long period?

I feel like Chief Brody after Quint smashes the radio.

This is terrible for de Laet, and also puts us one more injury/suspension closer to Richards having to play there again. Is Hutton still at the club?

Gutted for him but bacuna was doing a job there and unlucky to be dropped when we bought RDL.

Great shame for RDL but we DO have cover at least with three players available for that position. I wonder if RDM has considered going 3-5-2 at all.

Dublin, maybe Bent on the diminished side after serious injury.

I don't buy into a lot of this superstitious rubbish but surely the time has come for a Priest to get involved and exorcise the demons that possess Villa Park.

I had high hopes for Ritchie, what a wounder. At least we have Begbie ready to come in and cause mayhem down the right.

Begbie! Love it!

Gutted for him but it's one of the few positions where we have adequate back up in Bacuna, Hutton and Richards.

Whilst all along the culprit is actually the person leading the investigation.

from what I've seen there's no more than a fag paper between him  Bacuna and Hutton
