I have always been a big fan of the FourFourTwo magazines season preview. But their predictions for this season are -

Newcastle
Derby
Norwich
Sheff Wed
Brighton
SMALL HEATH
QPR
Ipswich
Brentford
VILLA
Forest
Huddersfield
Leeds
Preston
Barnsley
Wolves
Bristol City
Cardiff
Wigan
Fulham
Reading
Blackburn
Burton
Rotherham

I honestly don't think we will finish below Small Heath, QPR, Ipswich and Brentford. On the other side off the coin I think they are underestimating Wigan.

To be fair to them it obviously went to print quite a while ago and their predicted finish for Villa is similar to what a lot predicted on here.

I think their bottom 3 looks like a decent shout.

Bottom 3 looks good.

Derby will not finish 2nd. They always bottle it.

To be fair I think their Top 5 will all be in the Top 8 and their bottom 3 in the bottom 5 or 6.

Championship is always thereafter much harder to predict.

Just hope someone half decent comes in for Rowett - seriously he is far too good for them

Did anyone keep an eye on how our odds for promotion moved during the summer? I don't know if we were ever/are among the top two or three favourites.

I did, we were top 3 with William Hill before our first match. Newcastle favkurites, can't remember the other team.

4-4-2 used to be a decent read, but now its full of adverts and about 2 stories.

I vaguely recall them predicting Small Heath go get into the Champions League in one of their relegation seasons.

I think it was Norwich behind us then Derby and Brighton.

I think the general consensus on Oddschecker  was Newcastle, Norwich then us.

Small Heath are going down, don't let the unbeaten start fool you.

It stands a chance. I have always compared the regularities of Small Heath relegations as pretty much like Leap Years.
