I think we all know that any football team that has had any form of success has been made up for midfielders with at least one string to their bow. A playmaker, a protector of the back four, an intelligent creative player, a rapid fucker.

We haven't had any of that probably since Milner, Barry, Pertov and Young. No we get El- Ahmadi, Makoun, Holman, Sylla and Tonev replacing them ... replacing them, Westwood, Gardner and Bacuna....COME ON, why can't anyone in charge see they're shite, someone tell me?

The only league Westwood is good enough for is the one he came from. Which begs the question why a succession of managers seem to make him first name on the team sheet. He definitely knows where the bodies are buried.

It's a good job Wednesday have been pretty ordinary themselves. A decent team would have been a couple up by now. The amount of times they've just easily found space between the defence and midfield (snigger!) has been shocking.

Ayew has looked a class above anyone on the pitch in the couple of moments he's been involved. Cannot be sold under any circumstances

Cant make my mind up wth Ayew.  Great ability, but often loses ball or picks wrong pass.

Deja vu.

Both gardner and baker have experience at this level which is why i think he picked them. But it's clear we need to buy.

Experience for experience sake is pretty pointless though.

If we played him up top, off the shoulder of the last man he'd have the pace to beat wednesday. At the moment he gets the ball and has no options but to run himself. He is frustrating at times, but also he's got the sort of ability that will make him stand out at this level. Got to keep him.

Baker is the sort of player who will do well at this level. For me he's fine and he's played quite well today.
Gardner...erm...Unless he gets a few set pieces to take or pelts a long ranger, he's not offering much and he's too slow in that holding position.

Why is Hutton always in the area on the field where the right centre back should be thus leaving a bloody great area for them to use down their left flank?
