Gardner has been poor but at least he's done enough to get noticed. Westwood and Bacuna have contributed absolutely nothing.

This was for me the worst thing about us last season, effectively not having a midfield. I can't believe any of the management team think this is a sensible set up.

Bacuna created our only chance.

Refused entry  due to medication. Treated like scum. Don't drink but told that I was too drunk. How can I be drunk if I don't drink?

Anyway that you can prove to the club (wednesday) that it's medication? Unacceptable to be treated like that.

Gardner needs to come off

Can we all just say after 8-9 years that Gardner isn't ever going to make it here and actually his fucking brother was the better one after all. I don't care for how close he was born to Villa Park and how many posters of Tony Daley he had on his wall ... I just want to see good players.

And there was me thinking he had posters of Tom Daley on his wall.

I do think grealish and green could do some damage here

I've reinforced my view that we need a proper 'on the shoulder' no 9

Nothing is going to change for the better whilst Cissokho, Hutton, Bacuna, and Westwood are being selected. Make the bids a reality Dr. T this week.

Refused entry due to being drunk. Don't  drink due  to medication to help withr PTSD. No  compromise at all from the old bill, " It's the stewards' decision" kept  my ticket.

It's a good job Wednesday have been pretty ordinary themselves. A decent team would have been a couple up by now. The amount of times they've just easily found space between the defence and midfield (snigger!) has been shocking.

Ayew has looked a class above anyone on the pitch in the couple of moments he's been involved. Cannot be sold under any circumstances

Not Gardner's best 45 minutes but as mentioned above, at least he's trying to make something happen. The Invisible Man would have been more effective than Westwood.

I get the feeling that were this the Premier League, Gardner could have been booked about 5 times. He really has looked woeful today, almost to the point I can't fathom just what Forest fans saw in him. Is there another Gardner we don't know about? Have we confused him with someone else?

Poor game. For me we look unbalanced. Ayew is clearly our best player but in that position he's not getting enough time and space and in addition he's not doing enough defensively, so ultimately we're weaker for having him there. Get Gestede or McCormack (Ross has looked clever and has worked hard but he's not going to last the 90 today...too soon) and put Ayew through the middle.
Get Tish on for Gardner and give us some beef and legs in midfield.

As for Cissokho, he must be the most ungainly looking player in the history of football. He looks like a daddy long legs trying to evade a rolled up newspaper, having already taking three solid hits. He looks utterly bewildered by the ball whenever it's anywhere near him.
Bennett isn't brilliant but he's done okay at this level and is at least good with the ball.

Try to get a photo of the steward.

Its the first game of the season so may be RDM has just set us up to not concede and keep it tight (giving him the benefit of the doubt).

We could get something out of this game if he brings on Grealish, Green and Tish for Westwood/Gardner, Bacuna and Gestede, and push Ayew up top with McCormack.

Westwood isn't good enough for the Premier League, and he isn't good enough for this level either.

Absolutely nothing in midfield. Ayew has been the only one to show anything but as an out and out attacker he just runs with it until he gives it away. Never been a midfield player in his life. We badly need to sign at least 2 quality players in this area if we are going to seriously compete in the Division.

Both gardner and baker have experience at this level which is why i think he picked them. But it's clear we need to buy.
