I don't think McCormack will be match fit for a while -he missed most of pre season

So we may get lumbered with gestede after all. 😟😟😟

I don't think Rudy has "match fit" in him. His pace and anticipation are so poor that he always looks out of place. I'll take a chunky out-and-out striker who knows where the goal is over a perpetually slow and predictable match-fit player that can't dribble, pass, shoot or settle a ball.

Would be great if he can play I agree. Don't think we can carry anyone here tho

Personally I'd play ayew up top with grealish and Sinclair or green. 3 in midfield

Don't think RDM will go that way tho

I assume we'll stick McCormack on the bench if he's signed in time.

I haven't a bull's notion how we'll do, which after years of expecting to be dicked on a near-weekly basis, is quite a pleasant feeling. To unknown pleasures !

I fancy Rudy to nut one in. And I think Ayew will show his class on Sunday. Best player in that division IMO.

Yeah, we shouldn't get torn apart by anyone this season.

My prediction: 1 -  2

2-1 to Villa. McCormack off the bench to score the winner.

I really want to see the likes of the Russian and Green given a chance, maybe not in the team from the get go but in the squad at least. We have seen what all the players have to offer, we are predictable, give the young guns a chance some times.
