That first match under Atkinson is also one of my favourite away days ever.

Think we'll start this season with an all too familiar defeat.

Worth bearing in mind that if you think Westwood is crap as a holding player in the Premier League, Wednesday are going to line up with wee Barry sat in the same position.

I think Bannan is a decent player. I don't think the same about Westwood.

It's the unknown. Just want our lads to turn up - to play for the shirt ... that'd be a start .

at least Bannan tried to biff a long diagonal that worked once at Fulham and on no other occasion

Mr Choinks is shite. If Sir Pointsalot is shit then Bannan is utter shit.

if Cafu had maybe set off a few seconds earlier, some of them long diagonal buffs would have been pin point passes ;)

Same here, it was an unbelievable day.

If we go two down this time, I won't be expecting a repeat.

It's easy to forget how big a game it was at the time. Big Ron leaving them was massive news and this game was the story of the weekend for the media. Pure theatre, Wednesday were desperate to put one over us, we had a team full of newcomers, sun shining, wonderful day.
