Agree totally about the defeatist attitude; players don't trust themselves let alone each other.

I'm not sure about the Championship being necessarily tight; as with all divisions, some seasons it might be, but other times the top 2 or 3 get away quite quickly.

Whilst panicking is never a good idea, thinking that we can bide our time and that we can catch up the front-runners if we start to struggle does not necessarily hold true. If you look back over the last few years, the promoted teams have been in the top few places from the off. Recently only Reading have bucked the trend in 2011-12 (16th place at the start of November).

Not sure why people report on friendlies myself.  Guess the most striking thing about this is it reinforces to me just how much crap we still have on our books.  Bacuna I think can be good enough at this level if he applies himself better than he did at times in the PL.  Westwood I don't see much in at all now.
