Avoiding the Premier League as I do meant that I didn't discover the sickening, fawning, sycophantic bollocks for John Terry until I read the paper this morning.

How the fuck was that shit allowed? If you want to do a guard of honour for the racist thug then do it before or after the game.

Stopping it for a stage managed substitution? Fucking hell.

Indeed.  The opposition actually agreeing to knock the ball out for a throw so they could do it?  They should be relegated another 2 divisions for that.

They didn't really. He (Terry) wanted them to do it, so organised the whole thing.

I don't know how it went through so many different people and not one single one of them thought there was anything wrong with it? First Terry suggests it to his teammates who presumably all agree, then David Moyes agrees, then the Sunderland players including their GK who agrees to deliberately kick the ball out at a pre arranged time, then the referee must have been informed and didnt have a problem? Simply beggars belief.

In the big scheme of things it didn't really matter, Chelsea were still champions, Sunderland were still relegated, it was probably easier for the ref' to just let it happen and then carry on.

Don't get the I hope the English team lose.   I'd even get behind the Blues in a European final.

Why??  It was a match in which the league places couldn't be changed what  ever the result and no matter what we all think of JC , he has been simply awesome for Chelsea.

...and now it's been investigated by the gambling authorities as a few punters won quite a few thousand on small bets that Terry would be substituted in the 26th minute.

The only thing English about them is they play in an English league. No way could I cheer on a team that is, sorry was, one of our rivals in Utd. Balls to them.

The only 'possible' (in the sense of could never happen in a million years) scenario in which I'd consider that would be if they were playing the Albion.

Apologies, bit late to the whole JT jizz fest at the weekend.

Personally if I'd been part of the guard of honour (honour and John Terry? Fucking hell) I'd have broken rank and kicked him squarely in the ******.

I am not bothered and don't care if they win or lose however I find it really annoying that TV commentators almost expect  me to support the English team just because I am watching.

That's modern football.  The players inhabit a different world to the rest of us.  Terry has more in common with the Sunderland team than he ever will with anyone else.
